Hey everyone, it has been nearly a year and a half since my last blog post, and a lot has changed since then. The world we used to know and love is now different, everyone hoped that 2020 would be a great year, turns out to be wrong. A global pandemic decided to come out of nowhere and caused many casualties around the world.

So, what exactly happened to me for the last year and a half? Well, I am here to answer that.

TL;DR: I’ve been busy with work, then lost my job in April 2021. I am not streaming as much due to me getting demotivated, but I will still stream occasionally. I’ve mostly given up on Minecraft modding due to my 1.16 modding workspace being broken, so don’t expect new updates anytime soon.

I was pretty much just been busy with work for the entire 2020 and the first few months of 2021, despite the fact that the global pandemic was, and is still going strong at the time I am writing this blog post. But unfortunately, I’ve lost my job on 9th April 2021 due to the decision made by the management guys at the company as to cut costs on labour as the pandemic goes on. It wasn’t something I was expecting, but there wasn’t much me or my supervisor can do about it. So now I am trying my best to get a new job once again as I am financially struggling a lot. I will keep y’all updated on Twitter when I get a new job.

On the streaming side of things, I’ve pretty much given up on it for now unfortunately. After losing internet for a few months in early 2020 as I was switching to a different ISP, I’ve streamed a lot less since then. I guess streaming just isn’t really a thing for me. I am trying my best not to stress myself out too much, so I won’t be doing regular streams anymore, at least for now. I will stream some Minecraft and various other games whenever I feel like, but there won’t be a fixed schedule. Please do keep an eye on my Twitter for when I do decide to stream.

As for Minecraft modding, I’ve also pretty much mostly given up on it at this point, since both Minecraft and Forge are changing so much for me to keep up, plus the fact that my 1.16 modding workspace is currently broken at the time of writing (any external dependencies would just refuse to load into the workspace, making me unable to work with other mods within the modding workspace). I will try my best to keep looking into fixing the problem for now, but don’t expect any new mod ports or updates to be released anytime soon.

Also, I’ve changed the license for some of my mods to use a custom modified “All Rights Reserved” license due to the fact that some of my mods, notably “Dimensional Edibles” and “Avaritia Tweaks”, were forked and re-released by other people without my permision, , and I was not happy about that, so I had to relicense my mods to counter such actions. For regular players, the license change does not affect you in any ways, and you may keep using my mods in any modpacks. As for modders or code contributors, please keep in mind that my mods can still be modified for private use, but not for public releases. For a detailed version of the license, please check it out here.

So that’s about it for this personal update, thanks for taking your time reading and understanding my current situation, see y’all in the next update.
